		The late 1940s and 1950s were a strange time in America ? as this collection of educational DVD clips certainly demonstrates. World War II had just ended and parents were moving into suburbia and getting back to the daily grind of raising a family. The problem they encountered is that for years, teenagers had been treated almost like adults ? because they faced going off to war at a young age. Most of their fathers had also been absent due to the war, so for a long time teens had limited supervision. Now with peacetime prosperity all of that was set to change. Some of the clips are unintentionally campy and funny, while others give a real slice of history.
